September 2, 2025 - Columbus North girls volleyball traveled to Brownstown on Saturday (Aug 30) to participate in the Brownstown Central Invitational and came home with a sixth place record. The Dogs lost to host Brownstown Central 2-0 and Jasper 2-1, then beat Bedford North Lawrence 2-0 before falling to Seymour 2-1. Statistical leaders for the day included Kills: Karen Dutro (30), Sydney Ousley (16), Elaina Penrod (9) Blocks: Dutro (15), Lexi Denny (4) Assists: Denny (58) Digs: Morgan Osborn (34), Rori Pollert (23), Kyndal Wheeler (19) Service Aces: Osborn (7), Dutro (5), Wheeler (5) The Bull Dogs (6-6) will open Conference Indiana play Tuesday (September 2) when they host Bloomington North. Freshman and JV matches will begin at 6:00 with varsity to follow.
