September 3, 2025 - Columbus North girls soccer improved to 5-1 for the season and posted their fifth consecutive shutout in a 5-0 victory at New Albany on Tuesday evening. The JV match had to be canceled due to roster issues by New Albany. New Albany had been a perfect 4-0 for the season entering the game, but the Bull Dogs of Columbus North expressed their dominance early. Emerson Chambers (shown) and Rachel Fulp each had two goals, while Riley Sims recorded three assists to go along with one each by Grace Merrit and Evelin Lopez. Grace Bethuram recorded the fifth of North’s goals. The Bull Dogs outshot New Albany 27-0, which allowed for an easy night for goal keepers Danika Hoehn and Gabby Revell. North will host Roncalli on Thursday evening with the JV kicking things off at 5:30 pm at the BCSC Soccer Complex.
