Volleyball begins Conference Indiana season with victory over Bloomington North

September 3, 2025 - Bull Dog girls volleyball improved to 7-6 overall with a 3-0 victory over Bloomington North on Tuesday evening in Memorial Gymnasium. The Dogs won the first set easily, 25-15 and held off runs by the determined Cougars to win each of the final two sets 25-23. The two teams split the early matches, with the Bull Dogs winning the JV match 2-0 and the Cougars slipping by the Dogs 2-1 in the freshman match. Senior libero Morgan Osborn recorded five service aces, 13 digs, five assists, and a pair of kills to help the Dogs to victory. Setter Lexi Denny tallied 26 assists, twelve digs, and three aces for the match. Senior hitter Karen Dutro had ten kills and Tania Maldonado added eight for the Dogs. The Bull Dogs (7-6, 1-0) will travel to Martinsville on Thursday evening for a non-conference battle with the Artesians.
