April 29, 2023 - After an 8-0 loss to Cathedral Friday night, the Bull Dogs needed to regroup when they hosted Terre Haute North Saturday morning. The Dogs wasted no time jumping all over the Patriots with eight runs in the first inning and three more in the third en route to an 11-1, five-inning victory in the Conference Indiana matchup. Conner Hensley got the start on the mound for the Bull Dogs and he pitched a complete-game, scattering six hits and just one run, while striking out eight. The Dogs took advantage of five Patriot errors to go along with six hits in tallying eleven runs. Zach McLean and Tyler Blythe each had a single and a double, while Blythe, Hensley, Luke Harmon, Blake Osbourne, Dillon James, and Joey Fry each recorded an RBI in the victory. The Bull Dogs, who improved to 9-7 (2-1 in Conference Indiana), will host Shelbyville on Monday, May 1 at 5:30 pm. The JV (White) team will host Center Grove (White) the same evening at 6:00.
