April 29, 2023 - The Columbus North Unified Track team finished fourth at the Conference Indiana Championships at Bloomington North High School on Saturday morning (April 29), scoring 75 team points. Columbus North event finishers included the following: Shot Put: Nolan Riley placed 7th 29’3 Sydney Johnson placed 3rd 22’10” Trystan Dickinson placed 4th 9’3” Melissa Milvert placed 5th 7’9” Long Jump: Gavin Bayne placed 5th 14’11” Olivia Johnson placed 2nd 12’8 100m: Eva Thomas placed 4th 15.61 Lydia Kushman placed 5th 15.80 Trystan Dickinson placed 6th 21.17 Lydia Andrews placed 3rd 29.94 400m: Noah Marsh placed 3rd 1:02.46 Kayden Foster placed 1st 1:24.79 Boys 4x100m relay Noah, Kayden, Nolan and Gavin 56.08 placed 3rd Girls 4x100m relay Sydney, Lydia K, Lydia A, and Melissa Milvert placed 3rd 1:42.83 Head coach Elizabeth Dwyer was very pleased with her team’s performance. “Many of our students got personal (best performances) for the season and they performed better than expected. They really picked up the slack for some students that couldn’t make it.
