May 6, 2023 - After a disappointing loss to Greenwood on Thursday evening for Senior Night, the Bull Dogs bounced back and grabbed a 7-1 road victory over Columbus East on Friday evening (May 5). The Bull Dogs (11-8) had a recipe for success against the Olympians: excellent pitching, solid defense, and timely hits. Senior Luke Harmon took the mound for the Bull Dogs and pitched a gem. He scattered just four hits and walked only one while striking out eleven batters. The Dogs played effective defense behind him, committing only one error. Zach McLean was 2-for-3 from the plate, including a solo home run in the top of the third inning. Dillon James with a solo shot of his own in the fourth. Blake Osbourne and Connor Hensley each had doubles for North in the victory. The Dogs will host Westfield on Tuesday, beginning at 6:30 pm at Southside diamonds.
