May 10, 2023 - The Columbus North and Franklin Community track and field teams split the boys and girls track and field meets at Columbus North on Tuesday, May 9, with the Bull Dogs taking the boys meet 97-35, and the Grizzly Cubs nipping the Bull Dogs 67-65 in the girls division. Individual Bull Dog event winners in the boys division included: Nathan Sparks (100m and 200m) Will Russell (1600m and 3200m) Liam Milne (110m hurdles) Owen Russell (300m hurdles) Mateo Mendez (800m) 4x100m relay 4x400m relay In the girls division, North won the following events: Sierra Newell (long jump and pole vault) Moana Steele (discus) Lily Baker (1600m) Carys Glyn-Jones (800m) Julia Kiesler (3200m) 4x800m relay. This meet concluded the regular season for the track and field teams. Both team will compete in Sectionals next week.
