May 16, 2023 - Blake Osbourne threw a complete-game, one-hitter as Columbus North left a stain on Fishers’ Senior Night celebration, grabbing a 5-0 road victory. Osbourne struck out nine and walked none as the Bull Dogs improved to 14-9 overall. The Dogs were only able to muster four hits, two by Luke Harmon and one each by Trenton McCain and Connor Hensley, but North took advantage of seven walks and two Tigers’ errors to put five runs on the board and earn the victory. In the JV game played at Columbus North, Tito Heredia slapped a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the eighth to drive home Brock Kintner and grab a 4-3 victory. The JV team is now 15-2 on the season after the come-from-behind victory. The JV team will host the Indianapolis Kings Homeschool team on Tuesday (May 16) and the JV (White) will play at Edgewood on Thursday (May 18). On Saturday, May 20, the varsity team will compete in the Greyhound Invite at Carmel while the JV team will conclude their season at Terre Haute North.
