September 19, 2025 - Columbus North boys soccer fell to 3-3-4 for the season after a 3-1 loss at Lawrence North on Thursday evening. The Wildcats jumped out to an early 1-0 with a score just five minutes into the match, but neither team was able to score until four minutes into the second half when Lawrence North put their second goal in the net to take a 2-0 lead. With 14 minutes left in the match, Lawrence North scored on a Columbus North “own goal” to build a 3-0 lead. The Dogs finally put a goal on the scoreboard with five minutes remaining when Luccas Peda punched home a Parker Gribbins assist to make the final score 3-1. The Wildcats outshot the Bull Dogs 16-9, including an 8-4 advantage in shots-on-frame. Nicolas De Linan Palacios kept goal for all 80 minutes, recording five saves for the Bull Dogs.
