Volleyball claims sixth consecutive victory

September 19, 2025 - Head coach Sarah Stair’s girls volleyball team earned its sixth consecutive victory with a 3-1 victory at Jennings County Thursday evening, improving to 12-6 for the season. The Bull Dogs won the first set 25-17, but dropped set two 19-25. A 26-24 victory in set three gave the Dogs all the momentum as they rolled to a 25-14 victory in set four to secure the match. Statistical leaders for the Bull Dogs against Jennings County included Kills: Karen Dutro and Tania Maldonado (16), Sydney Ousley (10) Blocks: Ousley and Elaina Penrod (2) Digs: Morgan Osborn (17), Lexi Denny (13), Hannah Perry (10) Assists: Denny (41), Osborn (5) Service Aces: Osborn (4) The JV squad improved to 12-1 with a 2-1 victory in the early match. Jennings County did not have enough roster numbers to play a C-team game. The varsity team will travel to New Albany for a tournament on Saturday, September 20.
