Columbus North High School

May 21, 2023 - Columbus North claimed one sectional championship at the Floyd Central Unified Track Sectional as well as a runner-up and earned a fifth-place finish at the ten-team event. Unlike track and field, in Unified Track, competitors advance to subsequent rounds as a team exclusively, rather than in individual events. The fifth-place finish completed the Bull Dogs’ season. The 4x100m relay team of Noah Marsh, Gavin Bayne, Lydia Kushman, and Kayden Foster won the event in 57.41 seconds. Marsh took second in the 400m dash, finishing in 1:03.48. Top Bull Dog finishers in the remaining events included the following: Long Jump: Bayne, 5th Shot Put: Nolan Riley 13th 100m: Clemence Delfosse 14th Girls 4x100m Relay: 7th Photo: Noah Marsh finished second in the 400m dash and was part of the Sectional championship boys 4x100m relay team at the Floyd Central Sectional. Bull Dogs placed fifth as a team.
