Girls golf team kicks off season with a tenth-place finish at Bloomington South Invitational

August 2, 2022 - The Columbus North girls golf team, led by head coach Scott Seavers, got the fall sports season started with a tenth-place finish at the Bloomington South Invitational on Monday, August 1 at Bloomington Country Club. Carmel High School took the title in the team competition, shooting 301. Columbus North’s 415 was led by Erin Hopkins’ 96 on the par-73 layout. Ritisha Rashmil carded 101, with Lindsey Hartwell adding 102, and Nettie Meeks chipping in a round of 116. Also competing for the Dogs was Kara Buntin who shot 128. Next up for the Bull Dogs will be a trip to Prairieview Golf Course in Carmel on Saturday, August 6, beginning at 1:00 pm.
