September 27, 2025 - After back-to-back road losses, Columbus North football loaded the buses for the third consecutive week and came home with a 42-0 Conference Indiana victory over Terre Haute North on Friday night. The Bull Dogs (4-2scored on six of their eight possessions and built a 35-0 halftime lead before a running clock sped up the second half. Asher Ratliff was 13-for-18 for 173 yards and six touchdowns as the Bull Dogs outgained the Patriots on their Homecoming Night 315-40. The Bull Dog defense held the Patriots to just one yard rushing for the night. Parker Elmore was once again Ratliff’s top target, catching six passes for 96 yards and three touchdowns. Cohen Long had four receptions for 49 yards and a pair of scores as well for the Bull Dogs. Ezekiel Scruggs topped the Dogs’ running attack, gaining 99 yards on eleven carries. Terre Haute North’s lack of roster numbers forced a last-minute cancellation of Saturday morning’s JV matchup at Columbus North. The freshman team will play Brownstown Central at 9:00 am at Columbus North. Next up for the Bull Dogs will be a huge Conference Indiana matchup for Homecoming against Bloomington South on Oct 3.
