October 2, 2025 - Despite outshooting Batesville 19-5 and posting their eighth shutout of the season, the Bull Dogs girls soccer team was unable to find the back of the net and battled to a 0-0 draw to conclude their regular season. The Bull Dogs had a number of opportunities to put goals on the board, including one that was waved off by the officials to end the first half, deemed to have been scored after the horn sounded. Danika Hoehn recorded a save in 80 minutes of work in goal. The JV team concluded their season with a 14-1 record (5-0 in Conference Indiana) after beating Batesville 1-0 in the early match. The JV squad allowed a total of four goals in 15 games this season, including three in the opening match with Center Grove. North and Batesville only played one half of the JV match due to roster limitations by Batesville. North (11-2-3) will begin sectional play at Greenwood on Tuesday, October 7 against Greenwood. They will play the late match, beginning approximately 8:00 pm. The winner will face the Whiteland vs Franklin Community winner on Thursday, October 9 at 6:00 pm.
