Boys cross country wins Nike meet, girls 15th

October 5, 2025 - The NIke XC Town Twilight Invitational in Terre Haute showcased 48 teams and 460 runners in the boys championship division, and the Bull Dog boys won the team title with 115 team points. Noblesville was second with 187, and Plainfield North (IL) was third with 229 points. Jace Works finished second individually in 14:57.20, while the Bull Dogs placed five other runners in the top 50 finishers. Denton Sluder was 23rd, Graham Pumphrey 36th, Justin Reckers 40th, Joseph Day 44th, and Logan Vanzant 66th for the Dogs. In the girls division, Carmel won the team division with 74 points, followed by Mt. Prospect (IL) and Bloomington South. The Bull Dog girls were 15th with 483 team points. Individually, Tristan Works was the Bull Dogs’ top finisher, completing the course in 18:28.83, good enough for 28th place. Emma Lowther was 76th, Kodi Smith 118th, Sydney Madden 172nd, and Kylie Brinksneader 189th for North. Columbus North also won the Boys Open Blue division and the Girls Open Blue division. Both teams will compete in the Brownsburg Mini Invitational on Saturday, October 11, beginning at 9:45 am.
