October 8, 2025 - The Bull Dogs led Center Grove 1-0 at halftime of the Whiteland sectional semifinals, but two second half goals by the Trojans gave Center Grove a 2-1 victory and ended North’s season with a 7-5-5 record. Parker Gribbins (shown) scored North’s lone goal in the first half after a scramble around the net, giving the Dogs a 1-0 halftime advantage. Just three minutes into the second half, however, Center Grove capitalized on a foul inside the box and converted the penalty kick to even the match. Five minutes later, the Trojans scored the go-ahead goal and held on for a 2-1 victory. Center Grove outshot the Bull Dogs 15-9, including an 8-4 advantage in shots-on-goal. Nicolas De Linan Palacios recorded six saves in 80 minutes in goal. The Dogs will graduate three senior players, Leo Iorio, Jonah Sipes, and Jonathan Garcia Reteria, and manager Freddy Madero.
