October 5, 2025 - Hawes Insurance has recognized four Bull Dogs for their Athletes of the Week performances. Two volleyball players, Morgan Osborn and Karen Dutro, were nominated by head girls volleyball coach Sarah Stair. Head football coach Logan Haston nominated Koleton Sinnock, and Kendal Hammel nominated boys tennis player Luca Devidze. Morgan Osborn accounted for 101 digs and 23 aces in seven matches between September 20 and September 25. She surpassed 200 career service aces and 1500 career digs during that stretch, both program records. Karen Dutro had 60 kills, 21 blocks, and four aces in those same seven matches. She passed 1000 career kills and 450 career blocks last week, both program records. Linebacker Koleton Sinnock tallied 17 defensive points against Terre Haute North on September 27. These included eight tackles, one tackle for loss, seven quarterback pressures, and a forced fumble. Number one singles tennis player, freshman Alek Devidze, won both matches (Bloomington North and Silver Creek) during the week of September 22-27. He has played the one singles position all year for the Bull Dogs and, according to Head Coach Kendal Hammel, he “has worked hard in his development and competition against upperclass players and a challenging schedule.” Columbus North congratulates Morgan Osborn, Karen Dutro, Koleton Sinnock, and Alek Devidze for earning Hawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week recognition
