October 13, 2025 - Soccer goal keeper Danika Hoehn and midfielder Jonah Sipes have shared the Hawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week Award for their performances during the week of September 29. Hoehn, nominated by head girls soccer coach David Young, had four saves in a shutout of 14th-ranked Batesville and five saves in a shutout of 7th-ranked Bloomington South during the week. Sipes was nominated by head boys soccer coach Andy Glover not necessarily because of a specific performance, but because, according to Glover, “He’s been the most dependable of players, and an exemplary model between the lines of meeting our expectations regarding performance.” Congratulations to Danika Hoehn and Jonah Sipes, the co-winners of the Hawes Insurance Bull Dog Athlete of the Week Award.
