Volleyball closes regular season with Conference Indiana victory over Terre Haute South

October 11, 2025 - Columbus North girls volleyball secured sole possession of second place in Conference Indiana with a 3-1 victory over Terre Haute South Saturday afternoon in Memorial Gymnasium. The Braves won the first set 25-16, but the Bull Dogs rallied to win the final three sets (25-15, 25-20, 25-18) and finish the regular season 19-11, including a 4-1 record in Conference Indiana. Statistical leaders for the Bull Dogs included: Digs: Morgan Osborn (23), Rori Pollert (14) Assists: Clara Balzano (22), Lexi Denny (16) Kills: Karen Dutro (19), Sydney Ousley (9) Blocks: Dutro (9) Service aces: Osborn (6), Hannah Perry (2) The JV team swept the Braves 2-0 and finished their season 17-4. Terre Haute South had no C team, so the Bull Dogs’ C team finished their season on Thursday against Franklin with a 6-10 record. The Bull Dogs will face the winner of the Franklin sectional’s first round matchup between Columbus East and Franklin on Saturday, May 18 at 12:00 pm.
