October 12, 2025 - Columbus North girls soccer concluded their season with a 13-3-3 record. Center Grove was responsible for two of the three losses, including a 3-1 defeat of the Bull Dogs in the championship match of the Greenwood sectional on Saturday evening. After a very physical and evenly-matched first half ended in a 0-0 tie, the Trojans’ speed and crisp passing allowed them to build a 3-0 lead in the second half before North’s Allison Kolhouse capitalized on a penalty kick opportunity to put the Dogs on the board. Danika Hoehn had a busy night in goal for North, facing twelve shots and recording five saves. However, the relentless Trojan attack was too much for the Bull Dogs, who finished the season with a share of the Conference Indiana title with Bloomington South. The Dogs will lose seven seniors to graduation, including Gabby Revell, Kolhouse, Gabby Spurgeon, Brooklyn Pendleton, Lydia Kushman, Hayden Bigler, and Mavi Hernandez. Congratulations to the Bull Dogs on another fine season.
