August 7, 2022 - Most of the top girls golf teams in the state gathered at Prairieview Golf Course in Carmel on Saturday (Aug 6) as a preview to the IHSAA State Championship that will be held on the same course at the end of the season. The Bull Dogs placed 16th in the event. Individually, freshman Ava Bunker tied for second, with a two-over-par score of 74. Ritisha Rashmil added 104, Lindsay Hartwell shot 105, and Erin Hopkins carded 113. Also competing for the Dogs but not contributing to the team score was Nettie Meeks, who chipped in a 116. The girls will tee it up again on Monday, August 8 when they host Perry Meridian in a dual meet at Timbergate Golf Course in Edinburgh. The meet will begin approximately 4:30 pm.
