October 18, 2025 - Scoring 40 points generally leads to a victory, but the Bull Dogs gave up 49 to Terre Haute South on Senior Night and fell to 2-3 in Conference Indiana and 4-5 overall to finish the regular season. Senior quarterback Asher Ratliff threw for 306 yards on 27-for-40 passing, including three touchdowns to wide receiver Morgan Knapp. Knapp led the Bull Dogs with 13 receptions for 156 yards. During the first half of the contest, Ratliff surpassed Mike Hladik’s 5,519 career passing yards to become the program's all-time leading passer. He also added 97 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 15 carries to lead the Bull Dogs in that category. Sam Perry added 60 yards on eleven carries and had a touchdown. Special teams miscues and penalties hampered the Bull Dogs all night as they will look to clean up these areas as they prepare for the first round of the sectional tournament on the road at Franklin Central on October 31. The JV team was scheduled to play Bloomington North on Saturday, but the game had to be canceled due to varsity and JV injuries for the Bull Dogs. The freshman team beat Columbus East 7-6 Saturday morning, avenging a week two loss to the Olympians. The JV finished the season 4-3 and the freshmen were 7-2. The Bull Dogs recognized the program’s 27 seniors prior to kickoff of Friday night’s game. Ratliff became the program’s all-time leading passer, surpassing Mike Hladik (2005-2007).
