November 19, 2025 - A few unforced errors and poor shooting by the Bull Dogs in the first quarter at Southport on Tuesday evening gave the Cardinals a little bit to be excited about, trailing only 11-5. When the Dogs broke the huddle to start the second quarter, a new Columbus North team took the court and stormed to a 27-2 run, a 38-7 halftime lead, and eventually to an easy 55-15 victory. Another balanced offensive attack by the Bull Dogs (4-0) prevented the Cardinals from keying on any one player. Ava Wilson had 13 points, Miley McClellan ten, Kaylie Harmon nine, and Avery Johnson eight as the Dogs had ten different players score. McClellan added four assists and five rebounds in the victory, while Wilson tallied four steals. The JV team had little trouble in the early game, cruising to a 57-17 victory. Stella Thompson had 15 points and Olivia Ratliff added twelve as the young squad improved to 4-0 for the season.
