December 5, 2025 - Injuries to a pair of regular starters and facing a 4-1 Shelbyville team had head coach Brett White a bit nervous as his 6-0 Bull Dogs entered Thursday’s non-conference matchup with the Golden Bears. His concerns were quickly forgotten as the Dogs jumped out to a 25-16 lead after one quarter and extended it to 44-25 at halftime before rolling to a 73-43 victory, improving to 7-0 for the season. Riley Sims and Avery Johnson each had 16 points and Kaylie Harmon added 14 as the Dogs cruised to a running-clock victory. The Bull Dogs recorded 17 steals and forced the Golden Bears into 24 turnovers with tenacious ball pressure and quick hands in passing lanes. North was aided by a 26-for-52 shooting performance from the field and were 13-for-16 from the free throw line for the game. The JV squad also improved to 7-0 with an easy victory in the early game. Harper Andresen scored 19 and Bella Kintner added ten as the Dogs rolled 58-26. The Dogs will need another strong performance on Tuesday, December 9 as they will travel to Brownsburg for another non-conference matchup.
