December 19, 2025 - Columbus East jumped out to an early lead against the Bull Dogs on Thursday night, but after a time out by head coach Brett White, the Bull Dogs settled down, cranked up the defensive intensity, and rolled to a 58-43 victory as Winter Rivalry Week continued against the Olympians. The Dogs (9-2) had four scorers in double figures, led by Riley Sims, who came off the bench to light an offensive spark for North with eleven of her game-high 14 points in the first half. Miley McClellan had eleven, and the Bull Dogs got ten each from Ava Wilson and Kaylie Harmon. Hadley Andresen had twelve points and Bella Kintner added nine as the JV team (10-1) beat the Olympians 50-34 in the early game. The Bull Dogs will only have a short time to celebrate the victory over their cross-town rivals as they will host Terre Haute South for an important Conference Indiana matchup on Saturday afternoon. JV will begin at 1:00 with varsity to follow. Photo: The Bull Dogs celebrate a City Championship after a 58-43 victory over Columbus East in Memorial Gymnasium on Thursday night.
