December 31, 2025 - As has been the case all season, the Bull Dogs girls basketball team used balanced scoring and pressure defense to beat Eastern Pekin 54-42 in the championship game of the Cheatham Classic in Scottsburg, improving to 13-3 for the season. Miley McClellan had 14 points, 17 rebounds, and three steals, and joined Kaylie Harmon and Avery Johnson on the All-Tournament team following the title game. Riley Sims added nine points, Ava Wilson tallied eight, and the Dogs got seven each from Harmon and Johnson. Kenna Conrad collected six rebounds in the victory. North will travel to Whiteland for a non-conference matchup on Tuesday, January 6 before a key Conference Indiana contest with Bloomington South on Saturday, January 10.
