November 17, 2023 - Freshman Avery Johnson scored 19 points to lead four Bull Dogs who scored double-digit points in a 77-53 victory at New Albany Thursday evening. Classmate Kaylie Harmon tallied 17 points, Miley McClellan added 14, and Hadassah Hurt chipped in 10 as the Bull Dogs won their third straight contest to improve to 3-2 for the season. North knocked down ten three-point goals, including five by Harmon, three by Johnson, and two by Hurt, and were 11-for-13 from the free throw line as they topped their previous season high in points by 22 points. New Albany did not have a JV, so there was no early game. Columbus North will complete a three-game road stretch at Conference Indiana foe Terre Haute North on Tuesday, November 21. JV will begin at 6:30, with varsity to follow around 8:00 pm. Photo: Freshman Avery Johnson led the Dogs with 19 points in a 77-53 victory over New Albany on Thursday, November 16.
