December 2, 2023 - The Columbus North girls basketball team wasted little time jumping all over the Braves of Terre Haute South and cruised to a 74-18 victory in a Saturday afternoon varsity-only matchup. The Dogs exploded for a 25-5 lead after one quarter, extended the lead to 47-10 at halftime, and rolled through the second half with a running clock to improve to 6-2 overall, and most importantly, remain undefeated in Conference Indiana play. Kaylie Harmon led all scorers with 18 points, 15 of which came in the first half. Harmon knocked in four of North's ten three-point goals for the game. The Dogs were able to play deep into their bench for much of the contest, leading to eleven different Bull Dogs scoring in the game. Kenna Conrad was the Bull Dogs' other double-digit scorer as she added ten points. The Dogs will travel to East Central on Thursday, December 7, beginning at 6:00 pm.
