December 8, 2023 - A 40-30 victory at East Central gave the Bull Dogs girls basketball team their seventh straight victory after an 0-2 start to begin the season. The Dogs held only a 17-16 lead in the first half, but Kaylie Harmon (shown) scored 13 of her game-high 15 points in the second half, leading North to a 23-14 advantage in the second half, and the ten-point victory. Miley McClellan added eight points for the Bull Dogs. The JV team bounced back from their only loss of the season against Shelbyville to beat East Central 44-19. Riley Sims scored 13 points and Audrey Nordman added ten in the victory for the Bull Dogs (6-1). The Bull Dogs will host Seymour on Tuesday, December 12, beginning at 6:00 pm.
