December 19, 2023 - Jennings County used size, speed, and experience to overwhelm the Bull Dogs 62-36 in a non-conference matchup in Memorial Gymnasium on Tuesday evening (December 19). The Panthers jumped out to a 20-13 lead after one quarter and extended the lead to 40-25 at halftime. A quick burst by the Dogs cut into the lead during the third quarter, but the Panthers answered with three quick baskets and never looked back. Kaylie Harmon (shown) led the Bull Dogs with nine points, all in the first half. Miley McClellan and Kenna Conrad each added six for North. North won the JV game 49-36 behind Riley Sims’ 20 points, improving their season record to 9-1. The Bull Dogs (8-4) will travel to Franklin Central on Thursday, December 21. JV is slated to begin at 6:00 with varsity to follow.
