December 22, 2023 - North got 24 points from Kaylie Harmon and another 22 points from Miley McClellan, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a rough defensive start as the Bull Dogs fell at Franklin Central 68-61 to drop to 8-5 for the season. The Flashes put 24 points on the board in the first quarter and led 37-25 at halftime. The Bull Dogs cut the Franklin Central lead to just seven points (48-41) after three quarters, but were unable to shrink the lead in the fourth quarter. The Dogs nailed eight three-point goals, including six by Harmon, and shot 76% from the free throw line (13-for-17), but the Flashes answered with eight three-points goals of their own. The JV team improved to 10-1 for the season with a 37-33 victory in the early game. Riley Sims had 17 points and Ava Wilson added ten in the victory.
