January 10, 2024 - Carmel hit three of their eight three-point goals in the first quarter in Memorial Gymnasium on Tuesday evening and there appeared to be a lid on North’s basket as the Greyhounds jumped out to a 14-5 lead after one quarter of play. The Hounds and Dogs played very evenly the rest of the way and Carmel made their free throws down the stretch to seal a 57-43 victory over Columbus North. Avery Johnson had twelve points and Kaylie Harmon added eleven for the Bull Dogs, who fell to 10-8 for the season. In the early game, Columbus North’s JV lost only their second game of the season 48-41. Ava Wilson paced the Dogs with 13 points.
