January 24, 2024 - Freshman basketball player Avery Johnson has been named Hawes Insurance Athlete of the Week. Nominated by head coach Brett White, Johnson tallied 21 points, three rebounds, and three assists in a 64-55 Conference Indiana victory over Bloomington South on January 6. For the season, Johnson averages 9.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game for the Bull Dogs, who are currently 10-9 overall and 4-0 in Conference Indiana play.
