November 27, 2022 - The Bull Dog girls basketball team took a four-game win streak to Lawrence North on Saturday afternoon, but the home team knocked down five three-point goals in the first quarter to jump out to a 23-14 lead. The Dogs battled back to just a three-point deficit at the half before being outscored 14-7 in the third quarter. Lawrence North held on for the 60-50 victory, dropping the Dogs to 4-3 for the season. Columbus North had three players score in double figures as Hadassah Hurt (shown) had 13, Lauren Barker chipped in 11, and Miley McClellan added 10 for the Bull Dogs. Lawrence North took the JV contest 50-30, dropping the Bull Dogs’ JV record to 4-3. Sydney Johnson paced the Dogs with eight points. After a 6:00 pm C-team game at home against Center Grove on Wednesday, November 30, the JV and varsity teams will travel to Conference Indiana foe Terre Haute South on Saturday, December 3 beginning at 1:00 pm.
