Bull Dog cagers snag road victory at Seymour

December 14, 2022 - Senior Lauren Barker poured in a team-high 16 points as the Bull Dogs varsity girls basketball team beat Seymour 48-45 on Tuesday (Dec 13). The Dogs knocked down eight of nine free throws in the fourth quarter to secure the road victory and improve to 6-4 overall. Kayla Jones added eight points and Kennedy Horn and Miley McClellan each added seven to help the Dogs in the victory. In the early game, the JV Bull Dogs improved to 7-3 for the season with a 49-42 double-overtime victory over the Owls. Emma Beaver tallied 13 points and Kenna Conrad added 11 in the game which was tied at 34 at the end of regulation and 40-40 after one overtime session. The Bull Dogs will travel across town to face Columbus East as part of Winter Rivalry Week Thursday evening in a JV/Varsity doubleheader set to begin at 6:00 pm.
