North girls remain perfect after decisive victory over Terre Haute North

November 27, 2024 - Columbus North jumped out to a 17-7 lead after one quarter of varsity girls basketball action at home on Tuesday night, and rolled to a 57-30 Conference Indiana victory over Terre Haute North. The victory keeps the Bull Dogs perfect for the season (6-0) and in conference play (2-0). Hadassah Hurt (shown) had twelve points, including three 3-point goals, and added four rebounds in the victory. Avery Johnson chipped in eleven points and tallied six steals, and Kaylie Harmon had ten points to help the Bull Dogs’ balanced offensive attack. The JV team opened the night with a 36-18 victory, which also kept them perfect for the season (6-0). Sydni Schiefer led North with 15 points as nine different Bull Dogs recorded points in the victory. The Bull Dogs will be on the road after completing a three-game home stand at Shelbyville on Tuesday, December 3. JV is scheduled to tip off at 6:00, with varsity to follow.
