North now 10-1 after road victory at Seymour

December 18, 2024 - Kaylie Harmon scored 17 points and Hadassah Hurt added 16 as the Bull Dogs beat Seymour 62-59 on Tuesday night, running their season record to 10-1. The Dogs trailed 36-34 after a high-scoring first half, but an 11-6 advantage in the third quarter pushed the Dogs ahead and on to the victory. The Bull Dogs were 16-for-21 from the free throw line as the two teams combined to shoot 44 free throws in a physical contest. Hurt had three of North’s eight three-point goals, with Harmon adding two more in the Bull Dogs’ second-highest scoring game of the season. The JV team also improved to 10-1 after a decisive 60-19 victory in the early game. Sydni Schiefer scored 19 points to lead the Dogs as nine different players scored in the victory. Both teams will travel to Columbus East on Thursday evening. Due to injuries on the Olympian roster, the JV team will play only one-half, beginning at 6:30 pm.
