January 11, 2023 - The Columbus North girls basketball team was down only two points at halftime against the Carmel Greyhounds (19-17), but could manage only three field goals in the second half to fall 46-31. The Bull Dogs made just one three-point goal in the contest and only ten total field goals for the game in the defeat. Kathryn Wilson led the Dogs with nine points and Lauren Barker chipped in seven as the Bull Dogs fell to 10-6 for the season. North and Carmel split the early games with Carmel nipping the Bull Dogs 45-44 in the JV (10-5) game and Columbus North taking the C-team (8-1) game 30-17. The Dogs will need to regroup quickly as they are scheduled to host Center Grove on Thursday, January 12 and Lawrenceburg on Saturday afternoon.
